The March Art Gallery

by Millingport Elementary School and Oakboro STEM Choice School

We are so excited that Oakboro Choice STEM and Millingport Elementary school student work will be featured in the art gallery for the month of March and April! These students have been continuing their study of the elements of color, shape, line, texture, form and value. We are exploring with color and creating form with value in their delicious paintings! We have chocolate covered strawberries, dipped pretzels, cherries, avocados, cupcakes, and donuts all on display for your enjoyment! I hope you will love viewing some of the fantastic work that my students have created. We are so grateful for the opportunity to display our creativity in your gallery!

Rebekah Crisco teaches visual arts at Oakboro STEM and Millingport Elementary and has been teaching for 21 years. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is also a painter and ceramic artist. She has a home studio where she teaches kids and adult classes. She resides in Oakboro with her husband and 3 children and their dogs "Painter" and "Poppy."
